What must I do to be saved
Can God forgive what I have done? Must I become a better person before I come to Him? Can religion, church attendance or good works make me right with God? If you long for forgiveness and a new beginning, the Gospel speaks directly to these questions.
God offers hope through His Son
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
John 3:16 NIV
God loves you and has provided a way for you to know Him. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. His promise of eternal life gives hope beyond this present life. Your past need not keep you from coming to Him.
Believe in Jesus Christ as your Saviour
“for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,”
Romans 3:23 NIV
All of us need forgiveness. We cannot make ourselves right with God through good deeds or religious effort. As John 3:16 explains, salvation is offered to those who believe in Jesus Christ. Turn from sin and trust Him as your Saviour, relying on His death and resurrection.
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”
John 1:12 NIV
Receive Christ and believe in His name. He gives you the right to become a child of God. Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith in Jesus Christ; attending a church cannot earn it.
