What does it mean
New spiritual life
Jesus told Nicodemus that a person must be born again. This new birth is spiritual: God gives new life through His Spirit. It is more than adopting a religious label, attending a church or trying to improve our behaviour.
Born-again believers are people who have put their faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and received the new life He gives. We seek to follow Him and grow through His Word.
How can I be saved?
We all need God’s forgiveness. Jesus Christ died for our sins and rose again. Salvation is God’s gift, received through faith in Him.

Romans 3:23 explains our need for forgiveness.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

Turn from sin and believe in Jesus Christ as your Saviour, trusting His saving work.
“Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God”

Receive Christ and believe in His name. God gives those who do so the right to become His children.
